RING SIZING
Ring sizing is a tricky thing to get right so we would always recommend going to a high-street jeweller to get your finger sized properly. There are lots of online methods for measuring your finger, but they are rarely accurate and as resizing can be tricky and costly, particularly if there are stones in the ring, it is best to get it right first time around. You are welcome to visit the studio in Ticehurst, by appointment, to get your finger sized free of charge. Most high-street jewellers will also offer this service for free.
The following should also be considered when getting your finger sized:
- Your size may vary by up to a size from summer to winter.
- For wide rings with a flat interior (most of our wide rings have a curved interior so normal sizing applies) you may need to go up one or two sizes.
Please ensure when getting your finger sized that you get it sized with the appropriate sizer relevant to the ring you are wanting to purchase. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you any help with sizing.
BANGLE AND BRACELET SIZING
As a general rule bangle sizing is as follows:
For round bangles the internal diameter is 60cm for small, 65cm for medium and 70cm for large.
If your bangle is oval in cross section then again you want to follow the above guidelines for the longer part of the internal diameter.
All of Alice's bracelets are made in the average size – 19cm. If you have larger or smaller than average hands or wrists then we're happy if it's possible to adjust the size for you. Just ask before purchasing if you want a bangle or bracelet in a larger or smaller size. Please be aware this may alter the price if gold or silver needs to be added.
NECKLACE AND PENDANT SIZING
Generally 45cm is the average size for a short necklace, sitting just below the collarbone, 60cm for mid chest and 75cm for just below the chest. If you are petite you might want to opt for 40cm on a short necklace or if you are larger then 50cm. Please check the length of chains you normally wear before ordering. Other chain lengths may be available on request.
