Piercing Aftercare

After your piercing, it's vital that you care for your new piercing properly so it heals quickly and without any issues. As part of the piercing package, Alice will provide you with a complimentary bottle of NeilMed post-piercing solution. It's the best in the industry (retails at between £8-£10) and ensures you can start the post-piercing cleaning process straight away.

The three most important points to remember after your piercing are:

1. Don't touch it unless you are cleaning it! You do not need to twist or turn your new piercing. Every time you touch it you are potentially introducing bacteria to a healing wound.

2. Clean it twice a day using the NeilMed solution and kitchen roll, not cotton wool or anything with tiny fibres that could get caught behind your new studs.

3. Keep it dry. After showers, baths or sport, make sure your piercing is dried. You can use kitchen roll or a hairdryer on a cool setting.

Alice will provide you with an aftercare information sheet after your piercing, but is happy to help or advise you at any time if you experience any issues after your piercing.
